Frequently asked questions on how to enjoy your spa experience

What if I have questions about the various spa services?
Feel free to ask the spa's front desk personnel or your therapist for more information about any spa services we offer.

 

What if I have special health considerations?
Prior to your session, we will ask you to fill out a health questionnaire so that we are aware of any health condition that may be adversely affected by your spa service. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your massage you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

 

When should I arrive?
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to fill out the health questionnaire, change into the robe and sandals provided and relax in the our steam room and comfort room.

 

What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. All of our therapists are trained to drape sheets discreetly over any area of the body not involved in the treatment and to protect your privacy at all times. Before and after your treatment, the therapist will leave the room while you robe and disrobe.

 

What about my comfort?
This is your time, so feel free to discuss anything that affects your enjoyment of the session, whether it's the room temperature, the volume of the music, or if you need a pillow or bolster. Please turn off your cell phone or pager while in our facility.

 

What about my jewelry and valuables?
Please don't wear expensive jewelry or bring other valuables to your spa session. You will be provided a locker to put items into but the spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is not recommended immediately prior to your spa treatment. For men who are planning to receive a facial treatment, if you shave, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment. 

 

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged.

 

What is the cancellation policy?
We provide a generous cancellation policy of 4 hours prior to your appointment time. Please let us know prior to that 4-hour window if you need to cancel, otherwise we can try to reschedule you within the next day. If it is a full cancellation, then 50% of the service(s) will be charged to your account.

 

What about gratuities?
We recommend an 20% gratuity on all services that you will be notified of at time of payment. Gratuities are a matter of personal discretion.

 

What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and traveler's checks. If you are a guest at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 you may also charge them to your room.

 

What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify us if you are pregnant when you make your appointment so that we can offer guidance.

 

Are gift certificates available from the spa?
Absolutely. You may purchase spa gift certificates for a specific dollar amount or for particular services. The spa gift certificates can be used towards services or towards purchases in our Spa Boutique.

 

Can I purchase a day pass to use the amenities at Soothe?
Unfortunately, Soothe does not offer day passes for non-resort guests to use the Grotto area, locker rooms, or fitness room. To have access to these amenities, one must be a guest of Grand Lodge on Peak 7, an Owner at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 or receiving a spa service.
